Biodynamic Psychotherapy uses non-verbal interventions alongside more traditional verbal ones. Relating with the physiological process of the body opens up new possibilities for insight, self-regulation and integration. As a therapeutic tool, the massage is not just a sequence of movements on flesh and bone. A body is somebody, and the massage is directed by the needs of the client, meeting them at whatever state they bring. The feeling of being met through gentle, safe and responsive touch can have a profound effect on the nervous system that can leave one feeling cleansed and quieted.
